Upstate man is accused of repeatedly sexually assaulting a young girl over more than three years.

SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. —

A 31-year-old Upstate man is accused of repeatedly sexually assaulting a young girl over more than three years, deputies say.

Cody Allen Hudson, of Gray Court, was arrested Wednesday by Spartanburg County and Laurens County deputies.

Investigators said the victim provided “very credible,” detailed information about numerous assaults from 2016 to 2019 at multiple homes and other locations.

Hudson faces 16 charges, including second- and third-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor.

Hudson is being held in the Spartanburg County Detention Center.
