Serial Burglary, Tyler James Brady, wanted for nearly 20 Burglaries in Greenville area. In Ga. Jail now.



Greenville Deputies and Greenville Police have signed warrants for a Serial Burglary Suspect accused in nearly 20 Burglaries across Greenville County.
Greenville County deputies said on May 1 warrants were signed for Tyler James Brady regarding three incidents.

Brady was charged in connection with incidents that happened on March 27 at Chanticleer Golf Pro Shop, 124 Chamberlain Court and 5 Abbott Trail.
Deputies said Brady is charged with second-degree burglary, violent, safe cracking and petit larceny enhancement at the Chanticleer Golf Pro Shop.
He is charged with breaking into motor vehicles or tanks, grand larceny greater than $2,000 but less than $10,000 on Chamberlain Court and two counts of breaking into motor vehicles or tanks and petit larceny on Abbott Trail.
Greenville police have charged Brady in burglaries at:
  • 1922 Augusta St., Pure Barre
  • 1922 Augusta St., Labels
  • 221 Pelham Rd., Saige Consignment
  • 2123 Augusta St., Donut Experiment
  • 2222 Augusta St., Twill
  • 2222 Augusta St., NY Butcher Shoppe
  • 2222 Augusta St., Gage’s
Brady is booked in Dekalb County on Charges in Georgia, deputies said.

Greenville Deputies and Police anticipate several more charges 

According to police incident reports, Brady burglarized Pure Barre Fitness Studio and Labels Designer Consignment on Augusta Street on March 29, Palmetto Olive Company on Augusta Street on April 1, The Donut Experiment on Augusta Street on April 2 and Identity Hair Salon on Congaree Road on April 4.
Brady was caught on surveillance video smashing glass doors to get into businesses, according to police. At Pure Barre, the door was smashed with a bronze water meter ground cover that was found several feet inside the business.
Brady is also suspected of a string of burglaries at other businesses in Greenville.
County and city law enforcement have expanded the investigation to include other break-ins outside of Augusta Street.
According to the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office, other locations believed to be targets related to the Augusta Street burglaries include:
  • March 21: Pool and Spas, at 108 S. Batesville Rd.
  • March 28: Eggs Up Grill, at 1939 Woodruff Rd.
  • March 28: Smoothie King, at 1941 Woodruff Rd.
  • April 3: Tacos and Masat, at 802 S. Batesville Rd.
  • April 6: Paisanos, at 8590 Pelham Rd.
  • April 6: 2 Chefs, at 8590 Pelham Rd.
  • April 8: Maple Street Biscuit, at 2815 Woodruff Rd.
  • April 8: Blue & Gold Consignment, at 1624 Woodruff Rd.

Surveillance video showed a man breaking into the Blue and Gold Macaw Consignment Boutique on Woodruff Road with a pickax.
