Thank you NYPD officers and detectives for risking your

lives and making those streets a little safer for all those

residents.

May those neighborhoods be safer for a long while.

I lived in south Jamaica for 22 years. I joined the army

to escape the violence but the thought of leaving my

family behind forced me return home to protect them.

As a combat vet, I’ll do whatever is necessary to keep

my family and my home safe. I’m very glad that the

NYPD is taking measures to take these thugs off the

streets, making my community a little more safer, once

again.
