What an arrogant Air Bus Captain. He heard the King Air aircraft was on final but did not alert to this nor listen to the radio. Then takes off anyway with the other aircraft about to land head on. smh. Then rotates way to soon, going far to slow, and has a tail strike. Idiot. Airbus Captain should have immediately told ATC about the tail strike and turned around and landed. Both pilots were wrong, the other aircraft told them repeatedly we are landing. IMHO .. I'd have fired that Airbus Captain. He put so many lives in grave danger. And also climbing to 31,000' feet omg after a tail strike, fire him. The Air Bus could have easily come apart. wth
'I hope you don't hit us' is certainly a sentence of all time to hear while you're in a cockpit, holy shit.
What struck me as important is that the tail strike should have been reported imdiatly due to posible debris on or damage to the runway that could affect all trafic after the tailstrick untill the runway had been confirmed as clear and undamaged.
I’m still scratching my head over the fact that the pilots of both planes just kinda accepted that they were on a collision course when there was still enough time to take action.
