( The Officer used shotgun bean bags to try and knock
him down from a 12 gauge pump shot gun. That Officer
reloaded and fired at least 6 times
to no avail. Bean Bags will knock the devil out of you.
However, a moving target isn't easy to hit. Some people,
omg, will say the officers didn't need to shot him. SMH.
Police were more than justified. Looked like a 3 foot
sword / Machete. )
Great job keeping yourself and the community safe. I have
nothing but respect for all of you.
It’s hard to be sympathetic with a guy that’s told a dozen times
to drop his weapon. Sometimes you just get what you ask for.
Looked like a freaking sword. Machete was huge. Police had
every right to drop him. Bravo Zulu.
It's one thing if you don't speak the language; it's another
entirely if a uniformed Officer is pointing their service weapon
at you. At that point, regardless of language barrier, you know
you're supposed to STOP WHAT YOU'RE DOING. Dude seemed
to be having a mental crisis, but he was a danger to the
community and the Officers had to stop him to keep themselves
and others safe.
