SALEM, S.C. —
An Upstate woman died after taking meth that her husband gave her, according to warrants from the Oconee County Sheriff's Office.
Warrants said Mark Crowe provided meth to his wife, Tina Lynette Crowe, which was a direct cause of her death, according to a medical professional.
Deputies said Mark Crowe was charged with abuse or neglect of adult resulting in death and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and introduction of contraband into a jail.
EMS responded to Sarah's Dogwood Lane in Salem in response to a medical life alert alarm.
Deputies said that when they got to the scene, they found Mark Crowe and then found Tina Crowe dead.
The warrant said Mark Crowe refused or neglected to provide the proper care and attention to the victim by failing to provide required medical attention and providing meth to the victim.
Deputies said they were dispatched to a cardiac arrest at the location.
When Mark Crowe got to the Detention Center, he had meth and unknown pills in his pocket, deputies said.
