// Sidney Moorer's Courtroom Motions // HandCuffed To Bed Sidney Moorer Claims Night Heather Elvis Disappeared // ?? //






  1. State plans to file more motions. Court adjourned for Sidney Moorer.
  2. State says in order for Miranda to be used the person must be detained and interrogative questioning. Says Moorer was never detained.
  3. Defense says after multiple interviews it seemed like he was in custody and was not free to leave.
  4. Defense asking Martin about different points in the interview. Asking if at any point he asked Moorer to sign documents or mirandize him

  5. Says Moorer was also interviewed by another detective. We didn't hear that interview either.
  6. Martin says he never told Moorer he didn't have to talk to police. Says that happens during arrest.
  7. Says that interview with large was 30-40 minutes prior to the interview court just heard with Martin. (We didn't hear interview with Large)
  8. Martin says that interview with Large was much shorter and large did mirandize Moorer.
  9. Defense asks about the first interview that Sidney did during a search of the property with another detective. Detective was Allen Large
  10. Cross examination now starting for Martin
  11. Martin says Sidney left with his wife after finishing interview and he was never handcuffed or told he was under arrest
  12. Martin says Sidney Moorer was not able to give definitive answers to his questions and he felt something was off.
  13. State questioning Martin now that court has heard interview. Martin says he voluntarily talked with them openly.
  14. Interview: Detectives ask if Sidney would be willing to take a lie detector test and he refuses without attorney. Says he would be nervous.
  15. Interview: asking if Sidney and his wife have been to Peach Tree Landing. Says it yes a long time ago.
  16. Detective asks Sidney interview what he thought was going on with Heather. Says he doesn't know- that she's disappeared before
