// Charlottesville // Social Media has yet again Gone Far Left Crazy //

Its been less than 24 hours since the events in Charlottesville, and social media has yet again gone far left crazy.
Before I get into my thoughts, I would like to offer my condolences to the family and friends of Jay Cullen and Berke Bates of the Virginia State Police Flight Crew. These troopers gave their life doing what they were sworn to do, “to serve and protect.”
As I thought about putting together this post, I realized that I am going to make a large group of people angry. I make no apologies for what I am about to write. If you are offended by it, too bad..get over it. If you find my thoughts disturbing or hate filled, then you may wish to take a look in the mirror – you might be part of the problem.
Charlottesville is not new. It’s been happening across the country for the last couple of years. Seattle, San Francisco, San Diego, St. Louis, Austin, New Orleans, Charlotte, Nashville, Washington DC. All of the rioting, looting, violence….. is consistent with the activities in Virginia. However, you fail to hear about it as much, because it is carried out by Antifa activist under the guise of free speech, or by violent organizations that pretend to have a peaceful goal, such as Black Lives Matter.
The violence was incited at Charlottesville by these very groups that claim to protect free speech. The White Pride, or white nationalist, (or whatever they call themselves today), had a legal permit to hold a rally at the location they used. This organization went to the City, asked for a permit to conduct a peaceful rally, received that permit (after a court order), and proceeded to carry out their rally. Let’s stop here for a moment. Its legal. Its Constitutionally protected. It’s peaceful. They had 100% the right to be where they were, when they were there, doing what they were doing. Whether you agree with them or not, it was their legal right to assemble.
I argue that Charlottesville would have never made the news, had there not been a counter protest.
The group would have spewed their hate filled rhetoric, thumped their chest, raised their arms in salute to a mass murderer, then left the city and returned to their hate filled pathetic lives.
But that’s not what happened. What happened was a group of counter protestors arrived. These individuals did not have a permit to be there. They did not seek the permission from the city to protest the legal rally. They took it upon themselves to remove the constitutional rights of other Americans, by trying to block their freedom of speech. Many of them, not all, but many, came prepared for violence. Their goal was to impose their beliefs unto another group of individuals, and to do so violently. You are finally hearing about it because someone was killed. But, its been happening. All over the US. For years.
So that covers what happened, but how did we get here, and where are we going?
Within hours of the news breaking, the blame game was immediate. The White Nationalist were being blamed for being hate mongers’. The police were blamed for not stepping in and controlling the violence quicker. The NRA and Republicans were being blamed. Even President Trump was to blame for the actions of Charlottesville. Yet, the media has failed to lay any blame whatsoever on the group of individuals that showed up, to disrupt this legal event, and showed up ready and willing to commit violence. The damndist thing though, I didn’t hear one person take responsibility.
We’ve been heading towards this result for years. And I can assure you, you haven’t even begun to see the hate and violence that is yet to come.
Can we fix it? Probably not. We can turn our facebook profile pictures to the “memory of the week” event, and pray for peace love and happiness. We can blame whomever we want to blame. We can boycott whomever we want to boycott. But, in the long run, its not going to prevent individuals who were raised with hate in their heart, and a closed mind from committing the acts of violence that we have seen in the last few years.
Who are these individuals I speak of?
The White Supremacy, KKK, White Nationalist/White Pride, Aryan Nation, or any other dozens of supremacy groups.
Black Lives Matter.
ANTIFA
The Social Justice Rainbow Warriors that preach peach love and understanding, yet throw piss bottles and ied’s at anyone who doesn’t agree with them.
The White Shame groups.
The Far Right Wing Republican Groups
The Far Left Wing Democratic Groups
“The Resistance”
the list goes on and on………………. Each and every one of you are at fault. You are the disease on American Society. Your uneducated, biased, ignorant, self-serving desires are directly responsible for the violence that you see today. If you find yourself identifying in one of these categories above, or showing up in support or protest of one of these events – then You are the problem.
Its okay to not like someone. Its okay to not like someone else’s opinion. Its okay to disagree with others. But none of this should be based on the color of a person’s skin, or the culture in which they come from.
Want to do your part to help return society to an equal? Start taking responsibility for your actions. Start communicating with others that have different perspectives than you. And by communicating, sit with them, share a meal, have a couple of drinks, and learn about where they come from and why they feel they way they do. Then ask them to listen to your thoughts, and where you are coming from. Take responsibility for your kids. 60-70 percent of the violence committed is done so by teens and early 20’s individuals. Their actions reflect directly upon you as a parent. Its as simple as this – if your kid is throwing the piss bottle at the police – you are a failure as a parent. Fix it.
Fix yourself, before preaching to anyone else.
