the late eighties when it was truly a very special city. It left a
lasting impression on me for all the right reasons I am deeply
saddened to see its fall from grace such a demise from the
friendly safe & bejeweled city it once was, rivaling any global
metropolis to be sure & now a wasteland.

SPARTANBURG, S.C. (WSPA) – The man accused of killing five people in an Inman home Sunday night was arrested early Monday morning in Georgia.
Spartanburg County Sheriff Chuck Wright said James Douglas Drayton was arrested Monday in Burke County, Georgia and confessed to the murders.
A car that was stolen from one of the victims was also recovered in Georgia. This comes after deputies responded to a home on Bobo Drive around 7:45 p.m. Sunday and found four dead.
A fifth person was taken to the hospital and later died during surgery.

A unanimous three-judge panel of the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Richmond rejected arguments that the young white man should have been ruled incompetent to stand trial in the shootings at Mother Emanuel AME Church in Charleston.
In 2017, Roof became the first person in the U.S. sentenced to death for a federal hate crime. Authorities have said Roof opened fire during the closing prayer of a Bible study at the church, raining down dozens of bullets on those assembled. He was 21 at the time.

A serial killer already serving life in prison for seven slayings told authorities he has two additional victims buried near an interstate, a sheriff said Tuesday. Spartanburg County Sheriff Chuck Wright said investigators are bringing Todd Kohlhepp to the county to lead them to the supposed location of the bodies, the Greenville News reported.

Five years after analysts with the FBI’s Violent Criminal Apprehension Program (ViCAP) began linking cases to convicted murderer Samuel Little—and nearly 18 months after a Texas Ranger began to elicit from him a breathtaking number of confessions—the FBI has confirmed Little to be the most prolific serial killer in U.S. history.
Little has confessed to 93 murders, and FBI crime analysts believe all of his confessions are credible. Law enforcement has been able to verify 50 confessions, with many more pending final confirmation.
Little says he strangled his 93 victims between 1970 and 2005. Many of his victims’ deaths, however, were originally ruled overdoses or attributed to accidental or undetermined causes. Some bodies were never found.
“For many years, Samuel Little believed he would not be caught because he thought no one was accounting for his victims,” said ViCAP Crime Analyst Christie Palazzolo.

One person was killed and five others were wounded in a shooting near a South Carolina nightclub on Memorial Day, authorities said. No arrests have been made in Monday night's shooting in the Hollywood area of Charleston County, the county sheriff's office said Tuesday.
Sheriff's deputies responded to a report of gunfire and multiple shooting victims near an intersection at about 9:50 p.m., the sheriff's office said in a statement. One person was found inside a vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene, and five others were taken to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries, the sheriff's office said.

More details have emerged about the suspect in the fatally shooting of a Tennessee surgeon inside an exam room where the doctor worked.
Larry Pickens, 29, was charged with first degree murder and aggravated assault for allegedly shooting and killing Dr. Benjamin Mauck, the Collierville Police Department said in a statement on Wednesday. He was arraigned Thursday morning at the Collierville Municipal Court and is being held on a $1.2 million dollar bond, according to online jail records.

Police: 11 shot, injured during mass shooting at South Carolina park
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WACH) — Multiple people, including several teenagers, were left injured following a shooting incident in the early hours of Saturday morning at a park in South Carolina.
Deputies from the Richland County Sheriff's Department received a call around 1:20 a.m. about a large group of teens gathered at Meadowlake Park. When they arrived, most of the crowd was already dispersed.
Shortly after the first group of deputies arrived on the scene, another group attempted to make a traffic stop for a vehicle leaving the scene without headlights; the car did not stop, leading to a pursuit.

Mass Shooting: 10 injured, including 3 cops, in Memorial Day incident
CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) — Ten people were injured, and three law enforcement officials were hurt when gunfire erupted at a Memorial Day gathering in Charleston, South Carolina, according to police.
Police said gunfire erupted late Monday night when an officer was responding to a noise complaint about a loud party at a vacant lot. Someone shot twice into an arriving police car, authorities said.
Charleston news outlets showed surveillance video of people scrambling for cover as sporadic gunfire is heard. Reynolds told news outlets more than 100 evidence placards were placed at the scene, with many of those marking where shell casings were found.
Reynolds said four people were critically injured. He said the officer was not shot but injured by shrapnel from the glass and two deputies from the sheriff’s department were injured as they tried to control the crowd.

choices. You order online correct? They already know with
AI what you will more than likely order this time around.
The types and brand of Clothes you prefer to wear. Etc.,
They know your key strokes and key stroke patterns. They
know who your favorite Football Teams are or aren't.
They even know if your Married or not. And, they know,
if you are faithful or not.
They know you better than yourself. However, AI is not
perfect. Nothing ever is. However, some will swear AI is
the Future.
Next thing they will say to you, " We need to
put a Chip under your skin. " .... Mark of the Beast.
