Law abiding citizen kills gunman shooting into a crowd of people. Charleston, WV.

Charleston, WV. 

Police said a woman who was lawfully carrying a pistol shot and killed a man who began shooting at a crowd of people Wednesday night in Charleston.

Dennis Butler was killed after allegedly shooting at dozens of people attending a graduation party Wednesday near the Vista View Apartment complex. No injuries were reported from those at the party. 

“Instead of running from the threat, she engaged with the threat and saved several lives last night,” Charleston Police Department Chief of Detectives Tony Hazelett said.

Officers did not go into detail, but said Butler did have an extensive criminal history.

Hazelett said no charges will be filed against the woman.

A home security camera captured footage during a mass shooting in downtown Charleston Monday night.

According to Police Chief Luther Reynolds, 10 people were injured and four people are still in critical condition. Three law enforcement officers are included in that number. 

In home security footage from a home on South Street, you can hear multiple rounds of gunfire and people screaming, starting around the one minute mark.

Worked at a school that used to have three police officer's and everybody felt safe, however the defund the police movement got them taken out of our school because we were told there wasn’t enough money and that the police presence could be considered racist.

It's insane that a high school kid can't a buy a beer because he/she/they/we/ aren't responsible enough, but can buy a military grade assault rifle that law enforcement can't contend with.

Seems to us that what those police officers did in TX - waiting outside, protecting themselves, while children were shot and killed - may be an extreme result of the culture we've established the past two years. In 2020, we decided it was more important to shield teachers from a 99.7% survivable virus than to protect children from abuse, hunger, learning loss, depression, drugs or suicide. In a drive to save 80-year-olds, we canceled well child visits, isolated kids and prevented them from building healthy immune systems, injected them with experimental vaccines, and watched about 1/3 of them become obese - likely for life. We opened bars, restaurants and sports arenas for adults while keeping playgrounds, rec centers and preschools closed. We had some public health officials recommending that very ill children be locked in their room, to prevent older people in the family from getting sick. Even today, we mask 2-year-olds to make grown people feel safe. Is it any wonder those cops thought of themselves and their own safety first? It's a natural extension of the way we've been living since March 2020. The safety of adults - their comfort and peace of mind - is paramount. And children pay the price. In this case, the price was huge.

*I was thinking the exact same thing. I don't pretend to know the details in this incident, but it would fit given the way children have been treated.

*It has the sense of a stand-down to me, a la Benghazi. I know it isn't the same, but something seems similarly, an invisibly present as an external interference to what would normally happen as a response.

*Excellent point. Going even further, all of this "me first" "children last" mentality can be traced back to a culture that would allow its most precious and innocent to be murdered in the womb for the last 50 years.

The South Carolina Supreme Court filed an opinion Wednesday dismissing a request for Sidney Moorer's obstruction of justice conviction. 

Moorer was trying to overturn his 2017 conviction for obstruction of justice in the Heather Elvis case. He was sentenced to 30 years in prison six years after her death in 2013.

The highest court was asked to decide whether the South Carolina Court of Appeals erred in upholding the conviction. 

His attorney argued that lying didn't obstruct justice and Moorer was actually correcting some of what the investigators were alleging. 

He told on himself because he is Guilty as Sin. And his wife Tammy to.

Seasoned Officers either retired or quit. 

Now you have less experienced Police Officers shooting more 

people, because the Media, Biden, Liberals caused the good 

experienced Officer to leave the profession. 

The Media, Biden, ect., cut their own throats. 

Crime out of control. 

Loved ones being murdered by gang-on-gang violence. 

It will take time to get Police Officers seasoned again. Takes 5 long 

years to be considered a seasoned Officer. All that experience retired 

or simply quit. Who could blame them. We'd of done the same. 

We warned people this would happen. Intelligent people like 

Charles Barkley, and many others, get it.   

Millions of Americans know we need our Brave Police Officers.  

Biden says," Hire more Police Officers." To all cities across America. 

One problem sir. They have to be trained, go to classes, learn how to 

shoot a gun, then how to deal with harden criminals. This takes years. 

Experience is the problem now.  

Caused by Media, Biden, ect., Demonizing all Officers. 

People are dying in apartment fires. Why? Because there are not 

enough Police Officers on patrol to warn people at 3 - 4 am that 

there apartments are on fire. 

Officers have saved Thousands of lives by simple being in the right 

place at the right time. Get 40 - 80 people out of burning apartments

before there's goes up. 

Next time before you demonize an entire profession, think it through. 

Thousands are dead now because some did not think 

it through.

LOS ANGELES - Crime - Another Murder by 4 Suspects. 

 Police Tuesday sought the public’s help to identify four teenagers involved in the Fatal stabbing of a 33-year-old man in South Los Angeles.

The fatal stabbing took place blocks from Los Angeles Councilman Marqueece Harris-Dawson’s home, who has been relatively silent on the daily shootings happening in and around his district.

Los Angeles Police Department officers responded just after 6:10 p.m. on April 1 to the area of West 89th Street and Western Avenue, near St. Andrews Recreation Center, on reports of an assault with a deadly weapon and learned that paramedics had taken Dominic Lord to a hospital to be treated for at least one stab wound prior to the arrival of officers, according to a department statement. 

Investigators discovered surveillance video that showed Lord and the four suspects exit a bus at West 89th Street and Western Avenue before an argument erupted.

Lord attempted to flee the scene, but the suspects chased and surrounded him. He then fell to the ground, where he was stabbed at least once.

The suspects fled following the stabbing and were last seen traveling eastbound on Manchester Avenue, east of Harvard Boulevard, according to the LAPD.
