// Suspect Had Drugs Hidden in His Rectum // Dwayne Gernard Wigfall // Crazy People // However - This Happens All The Time Folks ... //




BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) - 
Shortly after midnight on Tuesday, June 5 a Community Action Team deputy with the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office stopped a spray painted 2002 Volvo for a moving violation on College Park Road at Gleason Drive. 
After approaching the driver, the deputy observed the odor of raw marijuana emitting from the vehicle, according to the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office Facebook page.
The driver, Dwayne Gernard Wigfall, 37, of Adams Run, was found to be driving with a suspended driver’s license. 
A probable cause search of the vehicle revealed a wide range of drug paraphernalia and illegal narcotics.
Located in the vehicle was:
• 11 tablets of suspected amphetamines, dextroamphetamine and oxycodone. 
• 10 tablets of suspected Clonazepam
• 28 tablets with names such as Alien, guppies & bricks – these were determined to MDMA / Ecstasy. 
• Approx. 3 gross grams of a green leafy substance that field tested presumptive to be marijuana. 
• An unknown green powder substance and another unknown substance was located but was not able to be identified.
Wigfall was arrested and transported to the Hill-Finklea Detention Center pending warrant service and a bond hearing, the report added. 
As stated in the post, upon arrival at the jail, he was strip searched by detention center staff due to the nature of the charges.
Detention deputies reported that Wigfall had a black bag containing (3) three bags inside his rectum. 
Those bags were found to contain a substance that field tested presumptive to be methamphetamines weighing approx. 36 gross grams.

Wigfall was charged with multiple drug related felonies in addition attempting to smuggle contraband into a correctional facility. He was given a total surety bond of $145,000.


He remains in the Hill Finklea Detention Center.
