Agreed, but how do engage without triggering practically everyone, and all for different reasons? Shouldn’t the black community be coming together to solve this violence?? It’s not just black on white, it’s black on black too.

We grew up in a Mill House. Dirt poor. Our African American friends 

would give us food so we could eat. Mom and Dad worked in a Mill. 

Talk about slave labor and dirt poor. Some people have 

no idea what poor white folks went through.

I lived in south Jamaica for 22 years. I joined the army

to escape the violence but the thought of leaving my

family behind forced me return home to protect them.

As a combat vet, I’ll do whatever is necessary to keep

my family and my home safe. I’m very glad that the

NYPD is taking measures to take these thugs off the

streets, making my community a little more safer, once

again.
