The messages to him are LOADED with gang symbols. He’s flagging gang hand signs in his pictures. This wasn’t some innocent 13 year old out on a stroll. He was bad. The cop made a split second decision and will have to live with that, but #AdamToledo made his own decisions too.

I try to mentor kids so that they don’t turn into #AdamToledo. He’s clearly throwing up gang signs in his pictures. His nickname was “Lil Homicide”. He was carrying an unlicensed gun. To blame this on the cops is dishonest. Treat the real issue in these neighborhoods.

So NOW we care about kids, huh? Now gunning down children is a problem all of a sudden for you? National outrage over a cop shooting an armed 13-year-old gangbanger but crickets when literal babies get shot and killed. What the eff is wrong with you people???

How many innocent children have to die in street violence before people have even a modicum of the outrage that they have when ONE criminal is killed by police?

This is true. But black people also commit violent crime at 2.5-2.8x the rate of white people. When you take that disparity out of the equation, the rates of being killed by police are essentially the same, with white suspects actually being slightly more likely to be killed.
