What people miss looking from the outside into the South and the Mill history and culture. The work was hard and dangerous, esp., for children. But the government did not target the Mills where children worked when they could walk. Government never gave a darn about the South. You will never read in School or Colleges how bad it was in the south.  

Many of us grew up in Mill houses. A very small house the Mill owed. 

We grew up in a Mill house. 

Still waiting for that White Privilege to kick in ..  

History that should be remembered. And taught in our Schools 

and Colleges.  

It would surprise many.
