HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — Sidney Moorer is set to go to retrial on kidnapping and conspiracy to commit kidnapping the week of Sept. 9, according to court rosters.
Moorer is charged in connection with the disappearance of Heather Elvis in 2013.
Elvis, who was 20-years-old at the time, has been missing since December 2013 when she was last seen at her parents' home..
An Horry County couple was indicted for the murder of Elvis in 2014.
A jury found Tammy Moorer guilty of both kidnapping and conspiracy to kidnap charges in 2018.

Sidney is serving a 10-year sentence for obstruction of justice, but he still faces kidnapping charges after his first trial, in 2016, ended in a hung jury.
