Investigators said a couple wanted in a shooting death at a Hickory furniture plant may be here in the mountains.

Authorities said Tangela and Eric Parker could be near the North Carolina/Tennessee border.

Investigators said Tangela Parker shot and killed a co-worker following an argument at work on Jan. 13. She and her husband have been on the run since.

Tangela Parker is wanted for first-degree murder and Eric Parker is wanted for accessory after the fact to first-degree murder, according to authorities.

Man Arrested for 2 Bank Robberies Ashville, NC. 

According to the filed criminal complaint, on February 25, 2021, at approximately 3:02 p.m., an individual later identified as Johnny Jermaine Davis, 37, of Kennesaw, Georgia, entered a BB&T bank branch located at 1653 Hendersonville Road in Asheville and approached the teller area.

According to allegations in court documents, on May 20, 2021, at approximately 4:46 p.m., Davis entered the Wells Fargo bank branch located at 800 Merrimon Avenue, in Asheville. As with the previous robbery, Davis allegedly approached the teller counter, pointed a firearm at a bank teller, jumped over the counter and ordered the bank employees to lie down on the ground. Allegedly, Davis then emptied the bank’s cash drawers and fled the scene with $831 in cash.
