Holes in Iran plane crash wreckage raise new questions
Iranian authorities say the crew of a Ukrainian airliner that crashed in Tehran never called for help. They say according to an early crash report, the plane was trying to turn back when it went down, leaving a trail of wreckage in a field on the outskirts of the city.
But Kris Van Cleave reports that holes found in that wreckage are leading some to question the idea that the plane had mechanical issues.

Man impersonating officer pulls over van full of cops .. Idiot .. lol
HICKSVILLE, N.Y. (AP/WIAT) — According to the Nassau County Police department, a Hicksville man was arrested for criminal impersonation last week on August 16. Detectives say that 25-year-old Valiery Portlock of Gerald Avenue was traveling on Hicksville Road in a black Nissan Sentra when he activated his air horn and the emergency lights built on his car in an attempt to pull over a van.
As it turns out, the van was occupied by Nassau County Electronics Squad detectives. The detectives, while stopped in traffic, identified themselves and then approached Portlock’s vehicle.
Portlock fled the scene, swerved into oncoming traffic, and refused to stop. He continued to drive at a high speed onto Long Island Expressway. Highway patrol officers were notified and spotted Portlock, initiating a traffic stop. Portlock was placed under arrest without incident.
He is charged with first-degree criminal impersonation, second-degree reckless endangerment and unlawful fleeing from a police officer along with multiple VTL violations.
Portlock was arraigned on Aug. 17 at the First District Court in Hempstead

6 charged during Columbia human trafficking operation
COLUMBIA, Miss. (WDAM) - The Columbia Police Department and members of the Pine Belt Human Trafficking Task Force charged six during a special operation on Dec. 13.
The operation was aimed at targeting those who were attempting to exploit or entice children for sexual purposes, solicit prostitutes and possibly identify victims of human trafficking, according to CPD.
Two men were charged with enticement of a child to meet for sexual purposes. Four others were charged with misdemeanor procuring prostitution.
Police charged 22-year-old Brandon L. Brumfield, of Greensburg, Louisiana, and 22-year-old Derrick L. Lamont, of Hattiesburg, with enticement of a child to meet for sexual purposes. Their bond was set at $100,000 each.
The four men charged with procuring prostitution were given citations and released. They are scheduled to appear in court in February.
