SPRING BREAK : Parents Please Talk to your Children Before they go to the Beach ! There have been so many Girls Missing. (and a couple young men)

I posted this on my FB and i think everyone should..............................With Spring Break and summer coming, parents please talk to your children before they go to the beach! There have been so many girls missing (and a couple young men) down here and not usually good news to the families. 
1) stay with your friends (not the ones you just met at the club)
2) NEVER, i repeat NEVER go to beach at night whether with friends or not. There are prowlers looking to rob and sometimes much more than that
3) There is an app (not sure what it is, check with your local authorities, they should know) that you can DL on phone that tracks you and if in an emergency situation will 'find' you (at least within 500 feet from where you are)...if reading this and know the app, please post

  • Jaime  Sharon Mulligan Smith, yes. Sorry so brief. It's a free app, has GPS and it has an alert function that lets everyone know you are in trouble. You just click it and it calls, texts and emails everyone in your circle your current location.

  • Christine  although this is great advice, the past few cases of these women knew the men, and had a relationship with them. not just a random stranger thing. I think we need to educate our youth more about choosing wisely and engaging in more appropriate relationships.

  • Gea Christine Martin we can educate our children till we're blue in the face and they're still going to make their own choices. Unfortunately some of those choices are going to be wrong in some way. Everyone makes mistakes,it's part of being human. Both the Elvis family and Tammy's family are good people. I'm sure they both raised their children to be good people but in the long run they made their own decisions. I'm just saying poor eduction by parents is NOT always the issue!!

 Circuit Court Judge Michael Nettles, who Sentenced Him to Only 7 Years  After Murdering a Tennager. So Say's Donna Elder, a Senior Solicitor with the 15th Circuit Solicitor’s Office. YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING US LADY .... 
 The Plea / Payment Under The Table Deal and Court Hearing Happened in Georgetown, SC.
 Coward Dwiggins had been Free on $100,000 Bail since Oct. 12, 2011. House Arrest  ?! He'll Do Less Than 4 Years In A Prison After Killing A Man and Hitting A 12 Year Old  ??!! 
 Kathy Dwiggins was Charged with Accessory After The Fact. Her charges are pending, She was released soon after being charged in 2011 on $10,000 bail. Just Like Her Sorry No Good Son.

 Adam T. Dwiggins and his Mother were Arrested Aug. 20, 2011, When Police were Called to Ocean Lakes Campground .... Michael Fitch Died while being Treated at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center after being Stabbed. Stabbed him in his left side. Chest area.
 Kathy Dwiggins tried to "sterilize and clean the knife,” Hide Evidence. Also On House Arrest !?
 Michael Fitch Saw Adam Dwiggins HIT a 12-Year-Old Girl. Dwiggins tried to leave the area, so Fitch and a Friend Confronted Him to Stop Dwiggins until Police got there.
 Adam " The Coward " Dwiggins Had Threw a BEER on a 12 YOA Girl while they Were Passing Each Other On Separate Golf Cars in the Campground. ( PURE MEANESS ) The 2 Stopped their Golf Carts, and Dwiggins, THE COWARD, HIT the 12 Year Old Girl after She Yelled at Him. HELL OF A MAN YOU COWARD ....
 2 Men Tried to Stop the Altercation, and One Man took the Keys from Dwiggins' Golf Cart, so THE COWARD Dwiggins Ran. A Witness told Police that He and Michael Fitch Saw What Happened and Ran after Dwiggins.
 When They Caught Dwiggins in front of his Camp Site, Dwiggins Stabbed Michael Fitch. Who Later Died. 
THIS MAGGOT PIECE OF DIRT PICKS A FIGHT WITH A 12 YEAR OLD GIRL AND HITS HER. AND WHEN 2 MEN TRY TO INTERVENE, THE COWARD DWIGGINS KILLS ONE OF THEM WITH HIS POCKET KNIFE .... WHICH HIS MOM TRIED TO CLEAN AND HIDE FROM POLICE .... 
 AND AFTER BEING "ONLY ON HOUSE ARREST" FOR NEARLY 3 YEARS. GETS ONLY 7 YEARS FOR MURDER ??  

   YOU JUDGE AND PROSECUTOR SHOWED HIM !!  

HOW MUCH $$$$ PASSED UNDER THE TABLE FOR THIS SWEET DEAL ........  ??   THE MURDERER / COWARD / WILL SERVE LESS THAN 4 YEARS IN PRISON .... MICHAEL FITCH LIFE WAS WORTH ONLY 7 YEARS ???????

    Incredible. Media should do an in-depth look at the injustices in the justice system's sentencing in S.C. I know a person who got ten years for stealing a small amount from their employer. Meanwhile, this cold-blooded killer gets 7 years and will be out in 5. Just like the man who shot his wife to death in their store on 544 and received 4 years. That's "INJUSTICE in justice."

      Does anyone know why he only got seven years? I just can't wrap my mind around why only 7 and he received time served while on house arrest.

        He took someone else's life but in five years, his life is going back to normal. It makes no sense. No amount of time in jail will change the situation or bring Dalton back, but five years is a slap on the wrist and a "don't do it again". This guy has been a troublemaker since we were in middle school. I remember him picking fights with random people in the hallways, throwing stuff at teachers during class, just overall being a bad kid. It makes me so mad.

            I know of the case but honestly do not know all off the details. It does sound like someone Did not completely do their job or someone did not follow through. Even if he is mentally ill then he should be placed once released. He was not charged or prosecuted for sterling a 12 year old girl. If he was being chased for this reason defending yourself does not apply. Lastly he was chatting a kitchen knife as a weapon. That is another charge that seems to have been over looked. In cases like this we should hold our court system at fault for not using all of their resources to assure justice and to keep someone like this from being on the streets later. I understand his situation and I feel for all involved this is just my opinion it is sad our court systems go full force for petty crimes and let things like this happen.

                   Horry Co. Police Back At Peachtree Boat Ramp

           Horry County Investigators Conducted a Forensic Reenactment at Peachtree Boat Landing Today. Arrest Warrants Released Earlier this Week said that the 20-year-old, Heather Elvis, was Kidnapped and Killed At this Boat Landing. Also, Victims Car Was Recovered At This Boat Ramp Back On Dec. 18 th.

           “Today we are working with equipment at the boat landing to determine possible tidal flows and patterns that may assist in recovery of evidence,” Lt. Kegler said. “We do have divers present to perform grid searches and evidence recovery as appropriate.”
