From an airline pilot point of view, I am shocked by all the non pilots comments to quickly blame the crew. You have to consider that the crew is highly trained and the crj 900 is a very sophisticated aircraft equiped with windshear detection and recovery. These guys do this all day. Yes it does appear that the plane doesn't flare and the question is why? could have been many reasons , weather, mechanical failure and yes maybe crew. that's why we have investigations. I am so grateful that everyone survived. This could have been catastrophic.
