 I remember being broke. Dead broke. Had to borrow money from my boss just so I could eat for the week. As I was standing there asking him for an advance, I promised myself I’d climb out of that hole I dug for myself.

This past month, on two occasions, I took my entire family out to dinner. Just because. Felt great to pay the bill and not have to worry about where that money was coming from. Somewhere, 25 year old Zeek is proud of 45 year old Zeek. God is real and He is good. Life is grand.
